Marc Wynne started his federal career in 2010 joining the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Health and Human Services, as a Senior Advisor assisting in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Since then, he has served in multiple management positions including the Acting Director of the Office of Enterprise Business where, among other responsibilities, he was instrumental in developing a strategic framework for managing the business transformation of agency operations. He currently serves among the senior managers of the Medicare program, responsible for program operations as it relates to claims processing and provider payment, evaluating policy, implementing new legislation, and contributing to delivery system reform initiates and new models of care developed by the CMS Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation.
Marc is a thirty-five year veteran in the field of health care management and health services delivery with considerable experience in both the public and private sectors. His private sector career spans eight years as a technician and clinical manager at a major Southern California medical center and fifteen years in leadership positions in health insurance and Fortune 100 medical management companies. He transitioned to public service in 2003 joining the Arizona Medicaid program (AHCCCS) as an Administrator for Healthcare Group of Arizona, a public/private partnership for insuring small business and their employees.
