Bronson Armstrong

Department of Defense

2020 fellow

Bronson Armstrong is an accomplished national security and business expert. He is an enterprise-focused, results-oriented federal executive with experience leading teams at all levels with a strategic focus. In his most recent role at the National Reconnaissance Office as the Director, Corporate Secretariat he provides executive leadership for executing the agencies’ Strategic Decision Framework. Bronson served 24 years in the U. S. Navy as both a Naval Flight Officer in the P-3C Orion as well as an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer. He spent much of his career deploying to the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Western Pacific Oceans, as well as the Persian Gulf. Before returning to work for the U.S. Government, Bronson spent over a decade in senior positions in the private sector at the Fortune 100 company General Dynamics where he was both a Program Manager and Chief Engineer.

Bronson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U. S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science Degree from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.

As a WHLDP fellow, Bronson is working on Leveraging Data as a Strategic Asset CAP Goal, by communicating implementation activities and establishing priorities for the second year of the effort.
