Anil Chaudhry

Anil Chaudhry has more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in technology delivery, operations, and program management in the defense, intelligence, and national security sectors. As a core member of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE), Mr. Chaudhry advises federal agencies on establishing mature data governance and management practices, developing innovative approaches for leveraging data as a strategic asset, and laying the foundation for advancing data discovery, access, and use through artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Before joining the CoE, Mr. Chaudhry served in critical leadership positions within U.S. Customs and Border Protection and as a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) at the Defense Business Transformation Agency. Mr. Chaudhry attended the National War College as a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Fellow in residence in 2016 and graduated from the DHS Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program in fiscal year (FY) 2021 as part of the DHS Senior Succession Management Program. Mr. Chaudhry has a bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minor degree in civil engineering, a master’s degree in management information systems, and a law degree in labor law and intellectual property.
Mr. Chaudhry is a member of the bar in Maryland and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has professional certifications in project management, risk management, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt), and enterprise business operations. Mr. Chaudhry served as an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps and as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Transportation Corps with a combat tour in Iraq supporting the establishment and training of Iraqi National Police. As a White House Fellow, Mr. Chaudhry is assigned to the White House Office of the National Cyber Director.
