Increase aviation safety for the flying public. By September 30, 2023, the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) range of programs will contribute to the commercial air carrier fatality rate remaining below the target of 4.9 fatalities per 100 million persons on board and contribute to reducing general aviation fatal accidents to no more than 0.94 fatal accidents per 100,000 flight hours.
