Elaine Ho

Elaine P. Ho is the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Internal Revenue Service. She is charged with the responsibility of shaping and executing the strategic priorities of the IRS Commissioner through collaboration with senior leadership to help drive the effective performance and management of IRS’s global tax operations and its 87,000-person workforce. Previously she served in senior roles leading the diversity and inclusion strategies for both the IRS and the Department of Agriculture. Before coming into the federal government, Elaine began her career as an Air Force JAG officer and then practiced law with Paul Hastings LLP, where she represented a full range of employers in all aspects of labor and employment law issues. Elaine earned her science and engineering degree from Duke University, her law degree from the University of Florida, and her executive certificate in Diversity Strategy from Georgetown University.
